Technology

One of the areas we pride ourselves on the most is our technology. Animal Medical Center has made some significant investments into the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment to make it as fast and easy as possible to treat our large and small animal patients.

Surgical Equipment

Our small animal surgery room features gas anesthesia, surgical laser, and hanging LED lights made specifically for surgical operations, giving our staff the best tools possible to ensure your animal's comfort and a quick healing time. Procedures performed well will heal faster!

Portable Ultrasound

Our portable ultrasound equipment helps us diagnose pregnancy in its early stages with 100% accuracy as early as 27 days in cows. This allows for a quick response time to rebreed or cull open cows, verifies fetal viability, and confirm fetal sex for earlier marketing. We have four portable ultrasound stations available.

Regenerative Medicine

Using state-of-the-art equipment, AMC has the ability to collect stem cells from your animal's own fat tissue and put them back into the body where they are most needed. Stem cell therapy is relatively new technology with outstanding results in the human and animal fields. This technique can be used to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament trauma, seasonal allergies, and more. Read more.

Equine Lameness Evaluation

AMC offers lameness evaluation for horses using the latest technology to analyze their gait. Lameness can manifest as a change in attitude or performance, caused by pain or inflammation in the neck, withers, shoulders, back, loin, hips, legs, or feet. Our equipment allows us to evaluate the horse in motion to determine the source of the pain and determine a course of treatment. Read more.

Digital X-Ray

We have two DR digital x-ray machines that allows us to quickly and efficiently collect images of our patients for diagnostic purposes. The digital images are stored electronically, saving time and money if the condition becomes chronic. High resolution images make for more accurate diagnostics.

Acupuncture

We offer animal chiropractic for companion animals as well as equine patients. Acupuncture is proven to reduce and/or eliminate the symptoms from ailments such as arthritis, nerve injury, respiratory problems, feline asthma, allergies, reproductive problems, gastrointestinal problems, and more.

Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy is a non-invasive and painless procedure that uses light to stimulate cell regeneration and increase blood circulation. This can be used to treat arthritis, tendon or soft tissue injuries, and promote wound healing.

Laboratory

Animal Medical Center has an in-house lab where we can perform most of the common diagnostic tests, such as blood and urine analysis, BVD testing, blood pregnancy testing, and more. This saves the clients time because they can get results faster, and more accurately plan a course of treatment.

Endoscopy

AMC has the equipment necessary to perform endoscopy services for our patients. This is used to get a closer look at the digestive tract to remove obstructions, retrieve swallowed objects, or diagnose problems if the animal is showing symptoms of disease.
